We have an open position for a Software Development Manager to join our Products Research and Development “PR&D” department in Lund (hybrid).
This is a new role, come and make it happen together with us. In this role, you will lead a cross-functional team of software engineers, QA engineers, architects, and scrum masters who develop our video analytics solutions. The team is located in Lund and Sarajevo (hybrid). The role will be reporting to CTO Viktor Nilsson.
Responsibilities
• Manage software development, including software design, development, quality assurance, documentation, and maintenance.
• Lead a team of software engineers, QA engineers, architects, and scrum masters.
• Set or fine-tune methods and processes for the team to work as efficiently as possible.
• Work with the team to prioritize different actions.
Requirements
• 5+ years of experience as a software engineer, developer, or similar.
• Leadership experience in some form, such as manager, team leader, tech lead, project manager, or scrum master.
• Coaching and mentoring skills.
• Knowledge of Agile methods.
• Experience with automated testing.
• Knowledge of design or development of software systems where multiple standalone components are communicating using network protocols.
• Confident in working with Linux (User space).
Desirable skills
• Experience with open source software and licenses.
• Proficiency in Python, C#, Java, GoLang, or Typescript.
• Web development, web technologies, and networking.
• Experience with Docker.
• Knowledge of data science.
• Hands-on experience with ML and deep learning using Python.
• Experience with image or video processing.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms, cloud architecture, and communication protocols.
